In 2004, the early days of the World Wide Web, there was a dirth of reliable medical information accessible to the public. We tried to fill this gap by providing summaries of peer-reviewed articles in the forefront medical journals.

Currently, there is a plethora of available information, and this site is no longer needed. We encourage everyone to use web sites that are associated with major universities, health organizations, and research hospitals, and avoid the populistic sites that push specific products or people.
