A "Just" workplace is healthy for you!
A recent article in the Archives of Internal Medicine tracks several thousand British civil servants over a period of 9 years, to determine the impact of their workplace environment on their risk for coronary heart disease.
They find that workers who feel that they are treated justly at work have a reduced risk of coronary heart disease - the risk is reduced by 35%, as good as (if not better) than the reduction resulting from treatment with statins! The reduction is independent of other known coronary risk factors. For more details, click here.
